A carcinoma that arises from the intrahepatic bile ducts, the hepatic ducts, or the common bile duct distal to the insertion of the cystic duct. The vast majority of tumors are adenocarcinomas.

Cells seen in 3D clusters, papilloid fashion, acinar patterns, composed of cuboidal cells. Few reactive mesothelial cells also noted. Positive for Adenocarcinoma, Possibly Cholangiocarcinoma. Advised cell block.
